I am extremely fortunate to work for an organization that is so involved in the community. Our secondary channel, PBS OC has had a photo contest going for several months for photos taken throughout Orange County. A couple months back I submitted two of my favorite photos at the time that were taken in Orange County. One of those photos was taken on Father's Day during sunset at a beach in Corona Del Mar. The other photo was taken at the Laguna Tide Pools! The other day a co-worked looked up and said, "Ashley, I just saw your name and photos on the PBS OC." Little did I know, the two photos I submitted had been airing on television for the past couple months. After sending a couple emails, I had the file uploaded to You Tube so I could watch it there. I am excited to share this 30 second interstitial that is airing on PBS OC. This photo contest is still taking submissions if you are interested. Click here -- it takes you directly to the submission page. It is moments such as this one where I realize the impact of technology in our lives. Not only do I have the resources to photograph these movements, but we live in an era where that photograph and go through a process to make it on television!
Life is truly amazing!
I am in love with life and all those in it.
