I sat in the corner of our living room - Journal in one hand, pen in the other.
The topic at hand, my 2019 reflections. As I reflect on this year, these vibrant portraits taken are the perfect tangible representation of the internal sensations. This past year, marked the most magnificent yet - ending not just a year, but a decade.
Why, you ask?
I continue to dive deeper into a life I had dreamed of, truly dreamed of.
My husband and I had some of the hardest, yet most enriching conversations which created the space to bring our dear soul, Orion into this world. Of which, I birthed her the most raw, natural way with my husband, doula and mama right by my side.
I worked through my biggest fear of taking three months off of my business, after having to cancel five weddings and to my humbleness, came back even stronger, more inspired than ever.
I launched an intimate woman’s group that meets monthly in my very own living room around topics, so near and dear to our hearts, souls and consciousness.
I checked in multiple times with a medium - ensuring I was listening to my intuition and allowing it to guide me on my path. I surrounded myself by a team of amazing souls upon returning from maternity leave as it truly takes a village. Thank you to my hubby, mama, my shooting assistant/ blog extraordinaire, my editor and bookkeeper for all keeping me sane and open to be present with my little girl. I lost a few friends, strengthen other relationships, wrote a letter forgiving my biological father,
took nearly ever Sunday off to be with my family, and the reflections goes on and on.
What I appreciate most about all of this is within each and every moment, I made a commitment.
A commitment to live in gratitude.
A commitment to be fully present.
Fully present in each and every second at hand.
Presence and gratitude,
gratitude and presence
has enabled me to dive deeper into a happier, more full me
- an intentional mamma
- a sincere, supportive wife
- an extremely grateful and determined business owner
- a listener
- a lover
- an sincere, honest me.
My friend, I share this out of pure humbleness, with pure love.
As a reminder, as an inspiration.
