Ah, one of my all time favorite parts about documenting weddings, other than the goodness you see here, is truly getting to know my clients where it feels as if another friend, another family member is celebrating their oh so special day!
You see, I have this very intimate, yet respectful approach in getting to know those I document. To me, documenting weddings is an honor, an intimate honor as this is one of the most euphoric days of peoples lives. This couple here was truly just amazing!
We met for coffee the week before their wedding to connect in person and my goodness, it was an hour and a half of just fun, whole hearted, excited about love, life and wedding planning type of connection! Their wedding was tucked away in the hills of the Angeles National Forest and was truly so beautifully intimate and down to earth.
This time capsule here, is quite frankly one of my favorites as that little donkey kept trying to eat her flowers and dress! Just a few weeks after this very wedding was documented, the horrific fires sweeping through Southern California burnt this animal sanctuary to the ground. All that lives on premises, including the 100's of animals are safe, but are in the process of rebuilding.
My dearest gratitude, my deepest thoughts go to all the amazing souls behind this place!
My goodness, Kaitlin and Jonathan, thank you for the honor of documenting your wedding!
