What if I said to you, “breathe into the moment?”
What does that look like?
How would it make you feel?
What does that even mean?
Just take note of the present. How are you sitting? Are you breathing? Are you holding onto any tension? Are your brows tightened?
Read this. Then do it.
Close your eyes, gently.
Inhale - filling from your belly to your ribs and expanding into your chest.
Now, exhale. Parting your lips, letting the air release from your chest, ribs and stomach.
Slowly open your eyes.
Now, observe. Where are you this very moment?
You may notice, you’re more calm, relaxed, present.
This mama and many other of my badass clients have been reminded of and guided through this very exchange. We as human beings, hold our breath, tighten our shoulders, clinch our knuckles - without awareness. As we become more mindful of our breathe, so too do we soften into the present moment. Leading to and creating authentically present, raw and connected time capsules such as these from this insanely joyous and loving in-home maternity and family shoot.
The power of presence, has truly become the foundation in which I document monumental, life enhancing moments.
Friend, breathe into the moment.
