These incredibly beautiful souls.
So many blessings wrapped into one as not only are these two of my best friends,
but I got to capture moments during their intimate Catholic Wedding Ceremony just a few months back AND THEN
continued the specialness by creating these ever so breathing taking moments during their trash-the-dress session.
I'm going to be honest, this was my FIRST trash-the-dress session.
I've always dreamed of being able to partake in moments like this,
but until recently, the opportunity hadn't presented itself.
And my oh my, was it worth the wait.
Todd and Yesenia picked out the location as this pier so beautifully stands close to their home in La Jolla, California.
We met, at what I thought the perfect time, just a few hours before the setting of the sun.
Which allowed us to play for sometime along the shores,
in the sand,
within the waves,
tucked in the crevices of the mountains
and secret little nooks.
At one point, my laughter, uncontrollable
as I was sooooooo excited for the moments occurring just on the other side of my camera lens.
At this time, Todd looked at me and said,
"I don't know who is more excited about their shoot, you or Yesenia."
And was it so true.
We had such a joyous time throughout the session.
Each moment being captured with laughter and love.
Todd and Yesenia, thank you AGAIN for yet ANOTHER opportunity to create time capsules for the both of you.
Your love and light shines so brightly and I'm honored to be able to experience this very exchange.
Ah, I am just in love with each and every session I am blessed to shoot.
As each one, so uniquely, takes on a life of it's own.
This one, of course, staying true to that reality.
Laura, an incredibly talented massage therapist and healer and her fiancé,
a very talented game creator studying design, wanted to do portraits for their families for Christmas.
And this, we arranged to happen.
The uniqueness, where this comes into play, were the locations.
They wanted their session to fully represent them as a couple
and even more so the place they've been calling home as both of them grew up outside Oceanside.
So, for their session, we explored two very specific alleyways in downtown Oceanside
and then headed to a little nook of the beach.
Both, fascinatingly wonderful and beautifully lit.
Laura and Dylan, thank you so much for the opportunity to create these moments for the both of you!
And even more so, thank you Laura for the scrumptious massage!
It's an honor to create and share these moments with you!
