What a special and unique wedding day for the beautiful couple, Erin and Brandon.
Although, both of them currently live back East, their wedding day took place in Oceanside, California.
It started in the Oceanside Harbor on a boat that was once his grandfathers and has now been passed
from generation and into the hands of the new owner, a family friend.
Once out of the harbor and into the waves of the open ocean, their ceremony took place.
Just at the front of the boat, Erin and Brandon with a family friend as their officiant and their family lovely watching behind them. The open ocean surrounding all. Making way for the incredibly blissful moment that occurred between a husband a wife, just minutes after exchanging vows, saying I do and sealing it with a kiss.
After the ceremony, the boat slowly made its way back into the harbor where we docked for celebrations and family photos. We made our way to 333 Pacific for dinner. But, of course, the 3 of us snuck down by the Oceanside Pier to take romantic portraits just at the sun was beginning to set. Secretly, one of my most giddy moments of the day.
Truly so blessed for the souls that start as my clients and then feel more like family by the end of their very special day! Thank you so much to the newly married, incredibly relaxed and wonderful duo, Erin and Brandon!
It was absolutely amazing sharing such intimate moments with you!
Moments like this, well, they stay very close to the heart.
As my dear friend Yesenia was planning her marriage with her wonderful (now husband) Todd,
it was decided, they would have two ceremonies.
One, intimate Catholic ceremony with close family, friends and the bridal party.
And the second, much larger, with a longer net of loved ones.
Yesenia asked if I would be open to photographing her intimate Catholic Ceremony.
And I so joyously, responded with a huge, "YES!"
And my goodness, I couldn't have been more honored and more blessed.
I got to spend the afternoon photographing Yesenia as our dear friend Nicole did her makeup.
We drank mimosas, giggled and watched her get ready for her ceremony.
After the final touches of her hair and makeup, it was time for the blessings for her mother and father,
portraits with her family and then we ventured to a beautiful church in Carlsbad, California.
There, they engaged in about an hour Catholic ceremony, announcing their love, marriage and commitment to one another. Below, are just a few of my favorite time capsules from this very day!
Thank you so much, Yesenia and Todd for allowing me to capture these very moments in your lives.
It was so beautiful not only getting to watch you exchange your vows, but create ever lasting time capsules.
Congratulations, I love you and am so unbelievably happy for you both!
